Amur ~ Amur (Siberian) tigers and leopards, whose habitat is the Russian Far East, are two of the most endangered big cats on the planet. Working with scientists, government officials and other wildlife conservation organisations, AMUR is an Anglo Russian charity created to further conservation efforts for these big cats.

Amur Leopard Conservation Programme ~ The Amur leopard is one of the most endangered species of big cat in the world. This site explains how zoos and other organisations are helping to save the leopard and how you can help them do so.

Tigris Foundation ~ Dedicated to the survival of the Amur tiger and leopard in the wild. Tigris foundation is involved in the development of new conservation projects and strategies in Russia and raises funds for their implementation.

The International Snow Leopard Trust ~ Home page for the International Snow Leopard Trust web site where information about snow leopards and ways to help them can be found.

The Cheetah Conservation Fund ~ The purpose of the Cheetah Conservation Fund (CCF) is to research and implement strategies for cheetah conservation in its natural habitat. From its Namibian base the CCF works with countries that have wild cheetah populations.

Afri-cat ~ A non-profit organisation based in Namibia to conserve carnivores, especially cheetah and leopard.

The Sumatran Tiger Trust ~ An international charity dedicated to conservation of Sumatran Tigers in the wild. Site contains detailed tiger information and pictures.

21st Century Tiger ~ 21st Century Tiger is a unique wild tiger conservation partnership between the Zoological Society of London and Global Tiger Patrol. 100% of funds raised go directly to wild tiger projects.

Wildlife Heritage Foundation ~ A UK based charity working to ensure that the big cat species of the world are protected from extinction. An active partner in the European Endangered Species Breeding Programmes (EEP), as well as setting up education programmes for the people that share the habitats of these wonderful cats. The WHF is also raising awareness and funding for big cat projects around the world.

Big Cat Rescue ~ One of the world’s largest sanctuaries for wild cats, providing a permanent retirement home for more than 100 lions, tigers, leopards, cougars, servals, caracals, sand cats, etc., representing 16 of the 35 species of exotic cat. We are an “educational sanctuary”, which means that our dual mission is both to take care of the cats and to educate the public so we can eliminate the abuse and abandonment that causes them to need a sanctuary.
